While October is another unpredictable month for waves on the island it tends to be just a little better than September. We were uber grateful for a fun, surprising swell last weekend that had Freights Bay firing for the beginner to intermediate Surfer while South Point more than provided for the advanced guys and gals! Soupbowl was heavy but winds were off shore so the pros and aspiring pros had some thrilling Surf too! Thank you hurricane Lorenzo for sending waves for all levels of Surfers in Barbados this September.
October should have fun surf based on what we saw this September. 99% of the time we can always find fun waves to ride and Surf Spots have small crowds so wave count is high. Keep an eye on our Instagram #barryssurfschool for some live updates!
